It’s impossible to watch “Wonder Wheel” without letting Allen himself and the current response to Harvey Weinstein not color the (absolutely gorgeous) viewing experience. But even ignoring beyond the biographical details and real-world shadows, this is an imperfect, if entirely beautiful, film.
