Vikings Season 3

This is the third season of the television show Vikings created for channel History, and inspired by the sagas of the Viking Ragnar Lothbrok, one of the best known mythological Norse heroes. Vikings was renewed for a third season on March 25th 2014, and will have ten episodes. Reported plotlines include the sacking of Paris, as well as the return of King Ecbert and Princess Kwenthrith of Mercia. The role of Judith – the daughter of King Aelle and eventual mother of the renowned English ruler Alfred the Great – has been recast and is now being portrayed by Jennie Jacques. Other new cast members include: • Ben Robson as Kalf, Lagertha’s second in command. • Lothaire Bluteau as Emperor Charles, of France. • Kevin Durand as the Wanderer. • Morgane Polanksi as Princess Gisla, daughter of the French Emperor.
