The Wedding Ringer

The Wedding Ringer is a 2015 action romance comedy. It will star Kevin Hart, Josh Gad, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting and Olivia Thirlby. Jimmy (Kevin Hart) owns a wedding company and provides best man services for socially awkward guys who don't have anyone close enough to be their best man. Doug (Josh Gad) a groom-to-be, finds himself in that situation, but he also fabricates the names of nine other groomsmen as well. When all else fails, Doug seeks out Jimmy’s help to plan a charade designed to make Doug look his best, but threatens to destroy everything if it doesn't work. The film was originally announced back in 2002, when the project was officially known as ‘The Golden Tux’, however it was stuck in development hell until 2013 when Mirimax Films and Screen Gems revealed they were producing the film, under its new title.
