The Hateful Eight

The Hateful Eight is a 2015 American western film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, making it his ninth film. The film stars Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Dern, Walton Goggins, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen and Kurt Russell. Set a few years after the Civil War, a bounty hunter John "The Hangman" Ruth (Kurt Russell) is taking the fugitive Daisy Domergue (Jennifer Jason Leigh) to the town of Red Rock for a justice. Along the way, they meet a black former union soldier, Major Marquis Warren (Samuel L. Jackson), who also becomes a bounty hunter, and Chris Mannix (Walton Goggins), a "Southern renegade" claiming to be the new sheriff of Red Rock. Way to town, a blizzard hits their stagecoach traveling across Wyoming during a harsh winter.
