The setting is Tokyo's Shibuya in 2024, where the Criminal Magic Response Act has led to a nighttime curfew for its citizens. Despite the law, it's largely ignored, and enforcement is lax. Marin Kirizumi, a wizard burdened by oppression due to his magical abilities, believes in his father's words: "If you become the strongest, you'll be set free." With this mantra, he ventures into Shibuya after dark, seeking freedom. Sari Nishijima, upon discovering her magical capabilities, vows to use them to uphold order. Guided by her unique sense of justice, she aims to protect Shibuya from dangerous ideologies and illicit substances that metamorphose individuals into monsters. The paths of Marin, yearning for freedom, and Sari, perceiving the subjugation of wizards as a form of justice, cross in Shibuya.
