Our Brand is Crisis

Sandra Bullock stars as “Calamity” Jane Bodine, a smart, savvy strategist who is nevertheless reeling from a scandal that gave her the nickname and shook her confidence. She’s offered the chance at a comeback by working on the campaign for Bolivian presidential candidate Pedro Gallo (Joaquim de Almeida), who is flagging in the polls, seen as out of touch and elitist. But when Jane arrives in the country, she discovers that her professional nemesis, Pat Candy (Billy Bob Thornton) is coaching the opposition. That, though, just gives her the fire to keep going and try to beat him at last... Which will not be an easy proposition...
