My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising is set in a world where some people are graced with powers, called Quirks. Some of those people become villains, using their quirks to steal or commit crimes, and some become heroes, dedicated to stopping those villains. Heroes Rising sees students of the prestigious U.A. High, a school for training young future heroes, sent to an island to assist the citizens as part of a safety program, only to come across one of the most powerful villains ever; Nine, who has the power to copy nine quirks from other heroes and villains.
