Murder Mountain Season 1

Murder Mountain explores a series of murders in Humboldt County, California, where dozens of people have gone missing in the last few years — more than any other county in the state. The series focuses primarily on the 2013 disappearance of 29-year-old Garret Rodriguez, as well as the events surrounding the investigation into his whereabouts. Murder Mountain also delves into Humboldt’s marijuana farms. Cannabis is the dominant local industry, and the legalization of marijuana cultivation and consumption now threatens a black market that has thrived for decades.
