Gotham Season 1

This is the first season of Gothan, an American crime television series based on the Batman franchise and related characters published by DC Comics. As originally conceived, the series would have served as a straightforward story of Gordon's early days on the Gotham City police force. The idea evolved not only to include the Bruce Wayne character, but also to tell the origin stories of several Batman villains. The first season consists of 22 episodes, and follows the exploits of iconic Batman character James Gordon as he tries to find justice for a young Bruce Wayne – whose parents are murdered at the beginning of the season. Along the way, Gordon gets involved with Gotham's Mafia families and associates, including gangster Fish Mooney. Eventually, Gordon is forced to form an unlikely friendship with Wayne, one that will help shape the boy's future in becoming the Dark Knight. The show stars Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Donal Logue, David Mazouz, Zabryna Guevara, Sean Pertwee, Robin Lord Taylor, Erin Richards, Camren Bicondova and Cory Michael Smith, amongst others.
