First Wives Club Season 1

BET has picked up 10 half-hour episodes of a new comedy series, "First Wives Club," from Paramount Television. Tracy Oliver, who penned the blockbuster hit film "Girls Trip," is attached to write and serve as Executive Producer. The half-hour series is based on the popular 1996 film from Paramount Pictures, which featured Diane Keaton, Bette Midler and Goldie Hawn. The series, like the film, will be based in New York City. It will follow a group of women who band together after their marriages fall apart, and who find strength in their sisterhood- and of course a little revenge.
