Coming Home in the Dark

A school teacher named Hoaggie and his wife, Jill, decide to take their two sons to the countryside for the day. While enjoying their time together, the family is approached out of the blue by what appear to be two drifters. One of the men, Mandrake, has a gun and describes himself as a magician who makes things disappear. The other, Tubs, allows Mandrake to do all of the talking. The family learns that the men have tracked them down to confront Hoaggie about his past and a brutal act that took place in his youth. Seeking justice, the men have decided to take the family on a terror-filled, long-distance road trip.
