When a nine-year-old is left at her school during a blizzard, she gets the experience of a lifetime. Her parents were supposed to pick her up, but they were running late. Then a blizzard hits, and she is stuck at the school. She is not the only one affected by the blizzard though; a pair of bad guys are stuck in an ice cream truck and later find their way to the school. Once at the school, they kidnap the janitor, and the little girl must save the day.
