Announced at IFA 2017, the aptly named Asus Windows Mixed Reality Headset is designed to be up and running within 10 minutes. It offers 3K resolution in virtual reality at 90Hz and uses an inside-out tracking method removing the need for external sensor points, and instead utilities two cameras mounted on the front of the headset. Asus also used breathable material in the design to reduce hygiene concerns, being mindful of an ergonomically balanced design and weighing less than 400g for comfortable. It also features a visor that can flip up for inconvenience and is paired with two motion controllers.
