The tranquil rural existence of Asterix, Obelix, and their fellow villagers is disrupted by the unexpected arrival of Justforkix, who comes seeking assistance. He discloses that his father, Doublehelix, has been unjustly incarcerated for a crime he didn't commit... The Lutetia Eagle, the esteemed golden symbol of the Roman legions, has been stolen, and an innocent man finds himself behind bars! Asterix pledges to look into the matter, urging Justforkix to stay safely within the village. Our two Gallic warriors then set off to Lutèce to gather more information from a well-informed contact who knows the city's rumors and intrigues like the back of his hand... Naturally, their extended journey won't be complete without a good dose of well-delivered slaps!
