An English Haunting

In the year 1907, London is entranced by a wave of spiritualism. The city is captivated by séances and performances where spirits supposedly communicate with their earthly families, sparking a plethora of investigators seeking to unveil the mysteries of the supernatural. Professor Patrick Moore is a leading figure in this quest, yet he faces a critical juncture - he has only 72 hours to substantiate the existence of the afterlife or his Metapsychic Investigations Department will be permanently disbanded. In a race against time, and with the aid of a pretend medium, Beatrice Shaw, he must finalize a prototype of the 'Box of Revelations', a device conceived by his lost mentor that purportedly allows glimpses into hidden dimensions within our reality. The creation of this device propels him from London's misty streets to Scotland's craggy coasts, and ultimately to the notorious 31 Benwell Street, reputedly England's most haunted manor.
