March has arrived, and the third term is nearing its end. Sakuta Azusagawa looks forward to celebrating the graduation of his girlfriend, Mai Sakurajima. While waiting for Mai at Shichirigahama beach, he encounters a young girl who strikingly resembles Mai as a child actress. "Who are you, Mister?" she inquires. Sakuta is left wondering whether this encounter is a dream or an illusion. Amidst his pondering, he receives a call from his father, stating, "It's about your mother. She wants to see Kaede." Kaede's mother, having struggled to accept the events that befell Kaede and with Kaede having been hospitalized for so long, now wishes to reunite with her daughter. Committed to fulfilling this request, Sakuta decides to arrange a long-overdue face-to-face meeting with their mother, despite feeling nervous about the reunion. Suddenly, new scars start to manifest on Sakuta's body, raising the question: could these be the harbingers of an unprecedented form of puberty syndrome?
