Precisely fifty years ago this fall, the most spine-chilling horror film ever shocked audiences worldwide. This Friday, October 13, a new chapter unfolds. From Blumhouse and director David Gordon Green, who reinvented the Halloween franchise, comes "The Exorcist: Believer". Since the tragic loss of his pregnant wife in a Haitian earthquake 12 years prior, Victor Fielding (Tony winner and Oscar® nominee Leslie Odom, Jr.; "One Night in Miami", "Hamilton") has single-handedly raised their daughter, Angela (Lidya Jewett, "Good Girls"). However, when Angela and her friend Katherine (newcomer Olivia Marcum) disappear in the woods, only to resurface three days later with no recollection of their experiences, it triggers a series of events forcing Victor to confront the ultimate evil. In his fear and desperation, he seeks help from the only living person who has previously encountered a similar horror: Chris MacNeil.
