When Star Motorcycles introduced its Bolt and Bolt R-Spec models to the public at last year’s Daytona Bike Week, we predicted a promising future for the affordable entry-level cruiser. Well, that turned out to be the understatement of the year: The Bolt, powered by an air-cooled 942cc 60-degree V-twin, quickly became the number-one-selling metric cruiser across all displacement categories over the past 12 months.
So, what’s new about the Bolt for 2015? Minor refinements, that’s all. A revised display for the digital speedometer display is perhaps most significant, which is said to be easier to read during the day.
